Are you looking for a nursing bra with a high cotton content? This Anita 5051 is made from 90% cotton and 10% Nylon, so not only is it soft, it’s breathable too. It has no underwire but is still designed to be supportive, even for mothers with a larger bust.
How supportive is this bra? It has a bottom support sling design, combined with laminated cotton piqué, and will provide a brilliant fit up to an I cup.
This bra is built for comfort, with wide, softly padded straps and a leotard back design to relieve pressure on your back. However, it is also practical; the back faster has two or three rows and columns depending on the size, with the larger sizes offering more flexibility, and the straps are adjustable.
****Please see the "FITTERS COMMENTS" tab for this bra****
The band under the bust is stretch microfibre, wide to support you, but also comfortable and breathable. The sides have zig-zag quilting and cool feel cotton mesh, which extends around the back of the bra. This bra can be washed on a cool wash, but cannot be tumble dried, ironed or dry cleaned.
How about the cups? The cups of this bra are made in three sections to shape your breast, with seamless sides for a smooth look under clothes. They are moulded, but free of wires, padding and lining. Experts believe that wearing a nursing bra with wires can lead to the development of mastitis. Nursing pads hardly show through the fabric. The cups can be released with Anita’s Kwik Klip system, so you can hold your baby with one hand and open the cup with the other.
So why would we recommend this Anita 5051nursing bra? Well, it’s made from 90% natural cotton, and it provides brilliant support without underwires. We think that it’s even soft enough to wear at night!
